Look at the head of hair on this little nugget! We had such a great time photographing this adorable family! We even captured William smiling while visions of sugar plums danced in his head… Thank you Nicole and Ben for choosing Julie Newell Photography!!!
We are so excited to announce that we are now offering senior photo sessions! Could this girl be any more beautiful?? Every time I look through the pictures of the images, I get chills through my body. Through the session, you see her transition from child to beautiful young woman. I am completely thrilled with the pictures and couldn’t have started off my plunge into senior photography with a more perfect model. Thank you McKenna and Cheryl for allowing me the pleasure to capture your true beauty and innocence through my lens.
Sunday mornings. Messy hair. Sunlight splashing across the table. Slippered feet padding around the kitchen – it is all the little moments spent with my family when I realize how blessed I am to be alive, and know that everything that matters most is right in my very own home. After having my first baby, I discovered I had stage IV colon cancer and knew I had two choices: become the disease, or fight it and live to see my baby grow. Five years and another baby later, here I am cancer free and watching my children grow into some of the coolest people I’ve met. Well it’s finally here, OUR BLOG!!! I am so excited finally share our sessions here on our blog. The first one up is going to be a session I did July 4th weekend. For those of you who live in Chicago or the midwest for that matter, remember that July was miserably hot and this day was not any different. During this session, kids and adult alike suffered the 100+ degree weather to capture these little moments. Amidst a few melt downs, nearly falling off the plank walkways, and a bundle of thirsty people we succeeded in getting great portraits to cherish for a lifetime. We even had a little fun! In these images we have my brother Chad, Sister in-law Kelley and their two boys Hayes and Elias. Also, my kids Estelle and Lachlan, and our cameo guests Mimi and Papa (my parents Barbie and Frank). I hope you all enjoy this post and many more to come in the future. This is just the beginning, we have A LOT of catching up to do. We will do our best to blog past sessions for our already fabulous clients who deserve a blog post just like everyone to come. […]
